why does my anxiety keep reinventing itself?

I used to get panic attacks and anxiety attacks. Had them for years. Now I’m doing things and getting on with my life it’s changing, its like because I ignore my old symptoms I get another lot instead, nightmares, chest pains, new stuff. Why does anxiety evolve like this?

What causes panic attacks? Anxiety can be caused by a number of different triggers. In your case, you might not even know.

When my wife was driving, a certain junction was her trigger. Every time she stopped at that junction, it hit her. Out of the blue a panic attack would swoop.

Any good tips for stopping panic/anxiety attacks?

I have anxiety attacks sometimes, ususally caused by being far from home, far from a hospital, or about having a panic attack (as silly as that sounds). For spring break I have decided to drive to California from Colorado with my friends because I don’t want to be crippled like this anymore. However, we will be very far from home or a hospital as we drive through Arizona. If I have a panic attack, what is the best way to stop it? Breathing usually doesn’t help nor do my medications. Any tips?

I am 34 weeks gone and have suddenly been getting what I think are anxiety attacks. My heart starts pouding and my breathing becomes shallow, I feel tearful and nervous but don’t know why – they come at any time and I’ve never had anything like this before. My blood pressure has also gone up (only to a normal level – it’s usually on the low side) is this normal?
