Masturbation is the deliberate involvement of our conscious mind in the perception of the sex/fantacy. All lead to the same, orgasm. Why then is the highest value placed on real sex? You can trick the mind through hypnosis to achieve the same effect.

All roads do lead to orgasm. However, "real sex", as you put it, is the most important outside of orgasm. If one needs or desires an orgasm It can be obtained in any manner. Like you said, you don’t need anybody else. But, there is more than one person on the planet and God created us to be interdependent.
I have a theory that sex in the Garden of Eden, before the fall, was the highest form of communication & spiritual union between two people. I think we experience a watered down version of it. At the same time we place a high value on it i also think we treat it pretty cheaply. Anyway, when we have dream sex, we don’t usually dream about masturbating, we dream of making love with someone else. It gets dicy when a relative shows up, however. Blech! But what i mean is, we want the other person. When we masturbate we don’t fantasize about kitchen appliances or computers, we think of other people. People who have monogamous sex regularly, have happier marriages, live longer, are healthier, are more content in general, etc… We are hard wired to know that sex with someone else has the most value. I can always have an orgasm…. I want him. Now i just hope he shows up.
If you manipulate the mind with hypnosis it is being tricked into or out of something. In certain instances the mind is in a bad place and needs to get out and in others a deception can be put in place of what a mind knows to be good and true. The difference is that when hypnosis gets rid of a ‘bad’ thing, the mind will know it’s better and not revert back to that state. When hypnosis tries to fool the mind out of something good & true, it will find it’s way back to that state naturally.
You are amazingly intelligent & sensitive. I hope you threw this on the table as something for us all to explore not because you actually assign the same values to all three scenarios of sex you put forth. You’d be too good in bed to waste this theory on yourself. Are you considering giving up women? Don’t experiment on yourself. I really enjoy your mind and your q & a’s.
